BIODEC C™
Composite circular decanters
The C series is the newest addition to the BIODEC™ family. This composite model has clear advantages over its stainless-steel counterpart: total corrosion resistance, lower shipping costs, and easy installation thanks to its low weight.

How it works
The BIODEC™ C series is a circular decanter operating on the same air-float principle as the S series, achieving nearly constant flow with a submerged-weir design. The series also features the unique solids-excluding arrangement and emergency overflow functions. Installed at the tank edge, the C series is simple to maintain and relocate if required. Modular in design, each unit has a maximum flow rate of 400 m³/h and can be expanded to accommodate higher flows for any size of treatment facility. With multiple decanters installed, a control algorithm precisely sets discharge flow rates and utilizes the full decant cycle time. Serial production guarantees consistent quality and quick delivery.
Advantages
- Constant flow: a single unit covers 50–400 m³/h
- Modular design: multiple units deliver unlimited capacity
- Algorithm-driven intelligent decanting to suit process conditions
- Utilizes full decant cycle times rather than pre-set values
- Composite construction with a 20+ year lifespan
- Submerged-weir design eradicates sludge suction
- Emergency overflow with built-in auto-stop
- Air-cushion design guarantees floatables exclusion
- Lightweight flanged construction for quick installation
- Low weight and packing volume, low transport costs
