Advanced SBR decanters
BIODEC™ is a scum- and solids-excluding, air-actuated decanter. It incorporates all the advantages of a submerged-weir decanter, peak handling capability, while retaining the operational simplicity and straightforward build of air-actuated decanters.
How it works
BIODEC™ SBR decanters have only one moving part: a simple, small-diameter three-way motorized ball valve. The vertical movement of the decanter is achieved by injecting or releasing pressurized air into the body of the decanter. Decanter levels can be adjusted easily on site to suit local conditions. This air-powered decanter can be driven by the plant's own aeration system, eliminating the need for any complex equipment.
